A service that keeps changing

We keep working on Cinema클럽, so features can change or be removed, and we don't promise the service will always be available. We'll try to give you notice before anything major changes, but that's a best effort, not a guarantee.

Your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create or use a Cinema클럽 account. By creating one, you confirm that you are.

You're responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for anything that happens under your account. Display names do not have to be unique. Your member ID identifies your account to other members. You are responsible for the display name and other account details you provide. If you think someone else has access to your account, sign out everywhere and change your password.

Recommendations aren't guarantees

Tonight, Wander, and every other recommendation Cinema클럽 makes are built from your Verdicts, watch history, Queue, and what you tell us isn't for you. That's an informed guess about your taste, not a promise. We don't guarantee you'll love every pick. A recommendation missing the mark isn't a service failure. It's just how taste works.

Where the movie and show data comes from

Titles, posters, cast, overviews, and genres come from The Movie Database (TMDB). We don't control that data and can't guarantee it's always complete or accurate. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

Links you share

The friend connect links and recommendation links you create are yours to share. Anyone who opens one can see what it shows, so it's on you to only share a link with people you're comfortable seeing that. Our Privacy page covers exactly what a link reveals.

Using Cinema클럽 respectfully

Don't use Cinema클럽 to harass another member, impersonate someone, scrape or automate access to the catalogue, or try to break the recommendation or sharing systems. Keep it a place worth being part of.

When things go down

Cinema클럽 depends on outside services: TMDB for movie and show data, Supabase and Netlify to run and host the app, Resend to deliver account emails and Contact messages, and Cloudflare for the browser check on account forms. If any of them have an outage, parts of Cinema클럽 may slow down or stop working until they recover. We aren't responsible for interruptions caused by services we depend on but don't control.

The Cinema클럽 name and mark

Cinema클럽, the projector mark, and the rest of the product's look and branding belong to us. TMDB's own name, logo, and trademarks belong to TMDB, not to us.

Liability

Cinema클럽 is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We're a small independent project, not a company with a legal department, and to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for damages arising from your use of the service. If something here doesn't sit right with you, the simplest option is to stop using Cinema클럽 and tell us through our Contact page.
